The American Trauma Society (ATS) is a leading organization for trauma care and injury prevention in the United States. The ATS has been a strong advocate for excellence in trauma care and help for trauma survivors and their families for the past 30 years. Support of the TSN is just one way in which the ATS fulfills its mission.
You can get involved with the ATS at the national level or locally through one of its many state divisions. The ATS is always looking for volunteers who are interested in supporting the TSN, developing and promoting public education programs about injury and its prevention, advocating with state and local legislators for trauma systems development and injury prevention, and creating a greater awareness of trauma and trauma care throughout the community.
To find out if a division of the ATS is active in your state, go to the ATS website. If your state is not listed as currently having an active division and you would like to help in establishing a division, please contact the ATS by email at admin@traumasurvivorsnetwork.org.
