Maine Medical Center’s Level 1 Trauma Center provides the highest level of surgical care to injured patients. A wide range of physician specialists are promptly available 24 hours a day 365 days a year to treat a variety of injuries and to give patients the best chance for survival and recovery.

Our Trauma Center has joined with the American Trauma Society to give patients and families additional resources via the Trauma Survivor’s Network (TSN). The website provides access to: 

• "Care Pages” to create free, personal, and private Web pages to provide communication and patient updates to friends and family.
• MMC’s Trauma Patient and Family Handbook
• The Traumapedia with detailed information on injuries and treatments 
• An Online Community Forum where trauma survivors and their families share experiences and hope.
• eMail access to the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Survivor Network Coordinator
