Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center

Sunrise Hospital is home to our Level II Trauma Center. We are fully equipped to provide specialized and experienced multi-specialty treatment to patients suffering from traumatic life events and injuries.

 

Whether arriving by helicopter or ambulance, our trauma team immediately treats our trauma patients, working with the onsite emergency medical services (EMS) team to ensure treatment begins as soon as possible. We are verified by the American College of Surgeons and designated by the state. We provide life-saving treatment for our community, not only our residents but to our visitors.

Trauma Survivor Network Support Group

July 12, September 13th, November 15th • 5-7pm

Support groups are free and met in-person to support survivors and their families of physical injury. Groups are co-led by TSN Trauma Professionals, TSN Peers, and our Social Work Team. Our goal is to help trauma patients and their families connect and rebuild their lives by enhancing survivor skills to manage day to day challenges. National Trauma Survivors Day!

May 17th • 5-7pm

The 3rd Wednesday in May is National Trauma Survivors Day! We celebrate together the strength and resiliency of trauma survivors, their family/friends, and the trauma professionals who go above and beyond every day.
