At HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, we are proud to serve our community as a state-designated trauma center, offering advanced, lifesaving care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our expert trauma team—comprised of board-certified trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, critical care nurses, and a full range of medical specialists—works together to provide immediate, comprehensive care to those who have experienced sudden, life-threatening injuries. But at our hospital, trauma care goes far beyond the emergency room. We understand that healing continues long after the physical wounds begin to fade, and that true recovery requires support, connection, and empowerment.
That’s why we are honored to be a proud participant in the Trauma Survivors Network (TSN)—a national community of survivors and families, built to offer hope and encouragement in the wake of trauma. Through the TSN, HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital offers a safe and supportive space where trauma survivors can connect with others who understand what they’re going through. Our program includes peer support, survivor visits, educational workshops, and opportunities to share your story in a way that fosters healing—for yourself and for others. We believe that no one should have to walk this path alone.
The TSN empowers survivors to take an active role in their recovery, build resilience, and find purpose after trauma. Whether you’re a recent patient, a long-time survivor, or a family member walking alongside a loved one, we invite you to join us. By sharing experiences, supporting one another, and growing stronger together, our survivor community continues to prove that trauma may change our stories—but it doesn’t define them. Join the TSN family at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, where healing happens together.
