Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) - Gainesville is an American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified level I adult trauma center located in Gainesville, Georgia. As a level I trauma center, NGMC is ready 24/7/365, to care for the most severely injured patients. Trauma care requires collaboration across all specialties, beginning with prehospital professionals, all the way through the rehabilitation phase.  Our team consists of skilled physicians, nurses, and support staff, to manage all traumatic injuries. Although our number one goal is to prevent injuries, through our injury prevention efforts, we recognize that trauma does happen, and it is unpredictable. In these unfortunate situations, the trauma team at NGMC provides the highest level of trauma care.
