Mercy Hospital is an 859-bed hospital located in St Louis, Missouri. Mercy St Louis is a part of the Mercy Healthcare system, one of the 25 largest U.S. health systems, and named the top large system in the U.S. for excellent patient experience by NRC Health. You can count on Mercy St Louis level one trauma center specialists for immediate, expert medical care. From the emergency room, surgery, and intensive care to discharge and follow-up care by board-certified physicians in surgery and surgical critical care and APRNs and RNs trained in trauma care. Our coordinated, team approach means that you'll receive the best care, from emergency transport to a quick and accurate assessment of your condition throughout your stay and recovery. 

 

Burn Care

Mercy St Louis has the largest burn center in Missouri. We have expertise in treating severe burns caused by fire, extreme heat, electricity, friction, or chemicals provided by a team of specially trained surgeons and nurses. 

 

What You Can Expect

After you go through your initial treatment at our trauma center, we follow up with ongoing treatment by trained specialists and therapists from across our network. We will coordinate a long-term treatment plan with your primary physician, working together through your recovery and rehabilitation.

 

Rehabilitation Services

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient services for patients recovering from Brain injuries, Spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.  Therapists work closely with physicians, specialists, and family members to treat patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs as they progress toward their goals. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is one of the few rehabilitation providers in Missouri accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
