I am looking for someone to talk to that has suffered trauma resulting in PTSD from working in a prison. I have witnessed horrific things. I have been assaulted and threatened by inmates as.well as.staff. I have been at it for sixteen yrs. Prior to that I suffered an extremely traumatic childhood

Another great resource is the National Center for PTSD: www.ptsd.va.gov They have wonderful resources and even a coaching app which supports survivors after trauma. We’re cheering for you!
