Our nationally ranked pediatric ED and Trauma Center is also the only children’s hospital in Central Florida recognized as a teaching facility for pediatric emergency care. This means we’re able to attract leading physicians committed to furthering pediatric care by educating resident physicians, conducting ground-breaking research and implementing the most advanced techniques available. Specializing in pediatric emergency care, this 33-bed children’s emergency department sees more than 55,000 kids a year and is the first facility in Central Florida to provide emergency care exclusively to children. Your child will have a dedicated team committed to evaluating and treating severe, life-threatening injuries and all forms of medical and surgical emergencies.

The Healing Tree

The Healing Tree – Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families provides assistance for any child who has experienced abuse, from ages 3-18. As the leading mental health treatment program for victims of child abuse in Central Florida, The Healing Tree provides evidence-based assessments, along with individual, group and family therapy sessions for children and their caregivers. This leading treatment facility helps strengthen the family unit and supports long-term recovery through confidential crisis counseling, individual, group and family therapy sessions for children and caregiver, and referral services.

New Hope For Kids

New Hope For Kids was established in 1996. This program is dedicated to supporting children facing adversity. Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Neuropsychology Program offers neuropsychological care and evaluation for pediatric patients experiencing cognitive or behavioral problems. Pediatric neuropsychology is a specialty that involves the evaluation of cognition and behavior as it relates to brain functioning.
