National Trauma Survivors Day!
May 15, 2024 – Trauma Survivors Day is a yearly event in which we honor our past trauma survivors and reconnect the patients and those who cared for them.
Honoring Mr. Hurst: A 2024 Trauma Survivor:
We are proud to announce Mr. Hurst as one of our 2024 Trauma Survivors. After enduring significant injuries after being hit by a car, Mr. Hurst demonstrated incredible resilience and strength throughout his recovery journey. During a special ceremony, we were able to honor Mr. Hurst and his family for their perseverance. The event feature heartfelt speeches from his dedicated doctors and nurses, who shared inspiring stories of his progress and determination. This recognition is a tribute not only to Mr. Hurst’s remarkable recovery but also to the many trauma survivors who face tremendous challenges with unwavering courage. We are privileged to celebrate the extraordinary recoveries made by survivors like Mr. Hurst who remind us all of the power of strength, hope, and perseverance.
This year Trauma Survivors Day will be Wednesday May 21, 2025 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Please reach out to [email protected] if you plan to be in attendance.
