Mercy Hospital Springfield is an 886-bed hospital located in Springfield, Missouri. Traumatic Injury Care at Mercy
You can count on Mercy Springfield level one trauma center specialists for immediate, expert medical care. From the emergency room, surgery, and intensive care to discharge and follow-up care by board-certified physicians in surgery and surgical critical care and APRNs and RNs trained in trauma care. Our coordinated, team approach means that you’ll receive the best care, from emergency transport to a quick and accurate assessment of your condition throughout your stay and recovery.
Burn Care
Mercy Springfield has the only burn center in southwest Missouri. We have expertise in treating severe burns caused by fire, extreme heat, electricity, friction, or chemicals provided by a team of specially trained surgeons and nurses.
What You Can Expect
After you go through your initial treatment at our trauma center, we follow up with ongoing treatment by trained specialists and therapists from across our network. We will coordinate a long-term treatment plan with your primary physician, working together through your recovery and rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation Services
Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient services for patients recovering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. Therapists work closely with physicians, specialists, and family members to treat patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs as they progress toward their goals. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is one of the few rehabilitation providers in Missouri accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
