Peer Support (TandemStride)
Ongoing – The Trauma Survivors Network is proud to be partnering with TandemStride to create a national network for peer support. TandemStride is an innovative platform that allows peer visitors and trauma survivors to connect digitally, no matter where they are located. Learn more here
TSN Virtual Support Group
Ongoing – Traumatic injuries affect both physical and psychosocial well-being. The Trauma Survivor’s Network Peer Support Groups connect trauma survivors, providing a space to share experiences, offer mutual support, and enhance coping skills. Information for in-person and virtual survivor support groups can be found here
TSN Virtual Support Group Family/Friends/Caregivers (Family/Caregivers)
Ongoing – Family, Friends, and Caregivers can register to join Family and Caregiver Support Groups. The TSN offers a monthly virtual support group for family, friends, and caregivers of trauma survivors of physical injury. Information and registration can be found here. NextSteps Online
Ongoing – The NextSteps program is a free 6-week self management course designed to recognize that YOU play the most important role in your recovery. based on the principles of self-management. It uses techniques that have been scientifically proven to increase one’s self confidence and sense of empowerment.
