The Saint Francis Hospital Trauma Center is verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level I Trauma Center, recognizing our ability to deliver the highest level of trauma care for patients with the most severe, life-threatening injuries. This verification also reflects our extensive resources, highly skilled personnel, active involvement in community outreach, trauma education and training, trauma research and our continually growing capacity to serve the region.

Saint Francis Children’s Hospital is also a state-designated Level II Trauma Center, providing access to highly specialized pediatric trauma care. With advanced clinical capabilities and dedicated multidisciplinary team, the hospital serves as a critical resource for children and families across Oklahoma who require urgent, complex, or life-saving care. Families can trust that, in moments when every second matters, their children are receiving coordinated and compassionate care.

Oklahoma ABLE Tech: Provides assistive technology (AT) devices and services, financing opportunities, digital accessibility services, advocacy, and education.

BrainLine: BrainLine is a national multimedia project offering authoritative information and support to anyone whose life has been affected by brain injury or PTSD: people with brain injuries, their family and friends, and the professionals who work with them. BrainLine also provides military-specific information and resources on traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to veterans, service members, and their families.

UAMS Institute for Digital Health & Innovation- Brain Injury Program: The UAMS Brain Injury Program is part of the Institute for Digital Health & Innovation. We are the lead program for brain injury in Arkansas and our services are free. We offer: community resources, telemedicine, support groups, quarterly online workshops, recovery groups, education for professionals, and a 24/7 nurse hotline for medical questions and physician consults (1-855-767-6983). 

Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center: The MSKTC collaborates with Model System researchers to translate health information into easy to understand language and formats for people living with spinal cord injury (SCI) and those who support them. The center conducts knowledge translation research, provides knowledge translation support to Model System grantees, and develops and disseminates free research-based resources to help improve rehabilitation outcomes and quality of life for people living with SCI.

National Institute of Child Health and Human Development: The NICHD does research on brain injury and provides links to more resources that give information about the injury.

Grief Recovery Center- “Heart Mend”: “Heart Mend” is a nonprofit that offers one on one guidance, support groups, life coaching, spiritual direction, and education to adults who are helping children with loss.

CALM Center at Counseling and Recovery Services: The CALM Center is a safe and caring place for youth ages 10-17 to receive immediate support, assessment and stabilization for an emotional, behavioral or substance abuse crisis any time of day or night. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay, and a referral is not necessary.
