Race To Rebuild
You can help the National Trauma Survivors Network Coordinator raise awareness and funding for the TSN through the Race to Rebuild.
What's this about?
Eileen Flores, the National TSN Coordinator, is training for a half marathon (13.1 miles) to raise awareness and funding for the TSN. Each mile will be in honor of trauma survivors and their loved ones who daily take steps in their own healing after a traumatic injury.
What’s the goal?
Eileen is running 13.1 miles and wants to raise $100 per mile by Race Day: November 3, 2018. That’s $1,300 to support the Trauma Survivors Network. During training and on race day, she will be raising awareness of trauma survivor stories, stories from survivor’s family & friends, and resiliency after trauma.
How Can I Participate?
- Help Eileen reach her goal of $1,300: Giving is easy and you can donate any amount. All donations are tax deductible. Just select "TSN Race to Rebuild" from the donation list on the American Trauma Society website donation page. If you're on the go, you can also text "TSNrebuild" to 703-215-4011 to initiate the giving process. If you would like to give your donation to honor a special survivor, family/friend, or medical team, please share this in the Donor Comments section.
- Help Eileen raise awareness of survivors: Share your survivor story or family/friend story, share music that helps you in recovery to add to her running play list, share what has helped you find resiliency in your own race to rebuild after trauma. E-mail Eileen Flores at eflores@amtrauma.org
