Novant Health Presbyterian Medical center is a level II adult trauma center located in Charlotte, NC. The hospital near uptown Charlotte houses 624 beds. The mission of Novant Health is to improve the health of the communities served, one person at a time, with a vision of providing remarkable patient experiences in every dimension, every time. This is true for the patients and families treated for traumatic injuries. Novant Health adheres to the American College of Surgeons recommendations when caring for patients who suffer traumatic injuries, which is why we joined the American Trauma Society as a Trauma Survivors Network site. We value the whole patient and realize that patients must be cared for holistically. The Trauma Survivors Network can provide guidance for patients enduring traumatic injuries through emotional, physical, and spiritual caring, support, and education.
NHPMC has 24-hour trauma and acute care surgery coverage, as well as intensivists, to care for critically injured patients. NH is affiliated with OrthoCarolina, and also serves the pediatric population with a pediatric ED, inpatient and intensive care unit. Visit www.novanthealth.org for more information on Novant and affiliates.
