Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with roots in the Muskegon community dating back to 1904. It has multiple locations in Michigan, totaling 463 inpatient beds. The Muskegon Hospital is an acute and tertiary care facility (hospital: 331 beds, behavioral health: 27 beds), serving Muskegon, Oceana, Northern Ottawa and Newaygo Counties. The Grand Haven Hospital is an acute care hospital (81 beds), serving northwest Ottawa County and southern Muskegon County. The Shelby Hospital is a critical access hospital (24 beds) serving Oceana and Newaygo Counties. In fiscal year 2023, the hospitals had 18,343 inpatient discharges and 100,758 emergency room visits. The system is the largest employer in Muskegon County, with a team of more than 4,100 employees and 750 physicians committed to the quality care of patients and their families.

 

Trinity Health Muskegon is a teaching hospital with robust Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs, drawing residents and interns from across the nation in the fields of Obstetrics/Gynecology, Family, Emergency, Internal, Geriatric and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicines, and a PA fellowship. After residents have completed their training, some stay within our local health system, and others receive opportunities to serve communities around the United States.

Harbor Hospice Grief Support Group

Sound Bathing

Every Monday • 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.Join this meditative experience as various sounds are used to wash away stress. Participants can participate in a sitting position or lying down. Wear comfortable clothes and feel free to bring your own yoga mat, blanket and/or pillow. Learn more

Creative Coping

Thursdays • 1:30-2:30 p.m.Creative coping uses mindfulness skills to help participants regulate their mood, improve depression and reduce anxiety. Learn more

Men’s Trauma Recovery and Empowerment

Tuesdays • 2-3 p.m.MTREM is an outlet for men to express their experiences with trauma, learn about what trauma is and its many effects, and learn the various skills to put into practice for the ongoing journey of trauma recovery. Learn more

Grounding with Sound

Fridays • 3 – 4 p.m.This FREE meditative group uses sound to wash away stress and help participants become more resilient when faced with traumatic situations. It is open to anyone in the community. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and bring their own yoga mat, blanket and/or pillow. Learn more
