At Sutter’s Eden Medical Center, we combine compassionate, patient-centered care with state-of-the-art technology. Our new medical center replaces the original Eden building, which opened its doors in 1954.
The hospital has 130 beds, all in private rooms. Eden is the regional trauma center for Southern Alameda County and features many centers of excellence, including neuroscience, orthopedics, rehabilitation, birthing center, imaging, stroke and cancer care. Eden Medical Center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission.

National Trauma Survivors Network Support Group
Virtual- Traumatic injuries affect both physical and psychosocial well-being. The Trauma Survivor’s Network Peer Support Groups connect trauma survivors, providing a space to share experiences, offer mutual support, and enhance coping skills. The Virtual Support Groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month with the exception of November and December. Register here.
