About the Kelly Brush Foundation
The Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF) is dedicated to inspiring and empowering individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI) to live active and engaged lives.

Here’s How We Are Making an Impact:

The Active Fund

Our Active Fund provides grants for individuals with SCIs to obtain cost-prohibitive adaptive sports equipment. We believe that access to the right equipment can open doors to new experiences and opportunities. To date, KBF has awarded over 1,800 grants, and our motivation to provide support continues to grow.

Scholarships and Camps

We also offer scholarships to various adaptive sports camps, ensuring that individuals can participate in activities that inspire them and promote physical well-being. These experiences help build confidence, skills, and lifelong friendships.

The Active Project

The Active Project is a web-based platform designed for individuals with a range of physical disabilities to connect, share, and learn from one another. Users can explore a wide range of adaptive sports, discover numerous adaptive sports programs, and connect with a community of individuals who share a passion for an active lifestyle.

  • Sport Pages – Learn about various adaptive sports, explore equipment options, and watch instructional videos to support your success.
  • Adaptive Sport Programs – Find adaptive sports programs nationwide.
  • Classifieds – Buy and sell adaptive equipment.
  • Grant Finder Portal – Explore 60+ grants to help cover equipment, training, program fees, and more.
