The Race to Rebuild is more than a fundraiser. It is a movement to raise awareness, build community, and create cultural change around what it means to recover from traumatic injury. The Race to Rebuild reminds our communities that discharge from the hospital is not the finish line. It is the starting line.

Race to Rebuild is a virtual, self paced walk, run, cycle, or roll that brings people together to recognize the recovery journeys of trauma survivors and raise awareness of the Trauma Survivors Network. Participate on your own anytime during May, or join others at a local TSN Race to Rebuild event. Check with your local TSN program to see if they are hosting an event in your community.

Want to do more to support trauma survivors in your community? Become a Race to Rebuild Community Sponsor and show your commitment to the Trauma Survivors Network and its mission.

Community Sponsors can make a gift of $100, $250, or $500 to help support the Race to Rebuild and the work of TSN. Sponsors receive special recognition and race registrations based on their level of support.

Your sponsorship is more than a donation. It is a visible statement that your organization or business believes trauma survivors deserve continued support long after they leave the hospital. By becoming a Community Sponsor, you are helping raise awareness, strengthen connections, and create communities where survivors can rebuild.

Build Your Team

When you register, you can join your local TSN team or create your own Race to Rebuild team. Invite your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, or community group to participate together. Want to create a team? Contact us at [email protected] and we can help get you started.

Don’t forget to share with us the pictures, videos, or art, that show your “Starting Line” and why you participate in the Race to Rebuild. Send them to us at [email protected] with the subject line “My Starting Line”!

Register for 2027

Registration opens October 15, 2026 and will remain open through May 31, 2027.

Registration is $40 per racer and includes a custom race packet that will be shipped directly to you! Race shirts are available in limited quantities and sizes, so register early to reserve your preferred size. Race packets will begin shipping in April.

A discount is available for Trauma Survivors using code “Survivor2027”.
