Suburban Hospital – Johns Hopkins Medicine is proud to be a member of the Trauma Survivor’s Network
The Trauma Survivors Network (TSN) provides a place for trauma survivors and their loved ones
to connect with others and get the information they need to help rebuild their lives. Support

Trauma Performance Improvement and Injury Prevention Nurse
The Johns Hopkins Health System includes networked trauma care. This is a group of hospitals that work together to care for injured patients across our region in the state of Maryland. The network includes Johns Hopkins Hospital, a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center; Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, a Level 2 Trauma Center and specialized burn center; Suburban Hospital, a Level 2 Trauma Center; and the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and specialized pediatric burn center. Together, these hospitals provide coordinated care for patients after injury—from prevention and emergency treatment to recovery and rehabilitation.
Supporting patients after they leave the hospital is a key part of our work. Through the Trauma Injury Prevention Program and Trauma Survivors Network, Suburban Hospital-Johns Hopkins Medicine leads survivorship efforts that help patients recover and adjust after a serious injury. Using trauma-informed approaches, the program connects survivors with education, resources, and support to improve their long-term health and quality of life.
