Snickers, the Trauma Llama, was able to help out at Sheltering Arms Institute with all things caregiver related. Snickers got to hang out on the Caregiver Coffee Cart and roam the hallways of the hospital to assist in delivering hot drinks, snacks and other self-care items to loved ones of patients.

Snickers got a lot of attention during the rounding and made lots of friends! Snickers got to sit in on Caregiver Coffee and Chat sessions and Caregiver Support Groups through the holidays. Always bringing a comforting ear to caregivers struggling. Snickers also posed for me in front of Sheltering Arms Institutes core values that remind us all of how we do the work we do.

Snickers brought fun and comfort to many individuals at the hospital during the visit and was a perfect sidekick for the TSN Coordinator, Rachel. Thanks Snickers for visiting!
