As the most experienced and advanced trauma center in Idaho, eastern Oregon, and northern Nevada, Saint Alphonsus has a long history of caring for the seriously ill and injured. Saint Alphonsus’ Level II Trauma Center is staffed by surgeons board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care who have completed specialized fellowships focused on trauma, intensive care, and surgical rescue. This advanced training prepares the multidisciplinary trauma team to manage the full continuum of care – from initial resuscitation through recovery.
