Teammates in Recovery is a campaign that aims to connect trauma survivors and the people who care for them with support and resources that underscore the important role mental health play in traumatic injury recovery and empower them to seek the care they need.
The next phase of the campaign is focused on sharing survivor stories to inspire on their own journey to recovery. As a result, the team is seeking patients to feature on their website to discuss their recovery journey and engage in dialogue about mental health support as a key part of physical recovery. The goals is for stories to address:
- The role mental and emotional health plays in physical recovery from traumatic injury
- Key players on care teams who supported your mental health during recovery
- Your personal source of hope/inspiration throughout your recovery journey
- Advice for other currently recovering from a traumatic injury
