HCA Florida Ocala Hospital

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is a 323-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala, Florida. We are also home to HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, a 222-bed hospital located in Western Marion County; together they compromise a 545-bed hospital system. The system also includes five freestanding emergency departments: HCA Florida Foxwood Emergency, HCA Florida Silver Springs Emergency, HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency and HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is verified as a Level I Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS COT), the highest possible designation. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is also a Level II Trauma Center verified by the State of Florida and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The hospitals offer a host of other quality and award-winning services including orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services including open heart surgery and interventional procedures, emergency, neurological and rehabilitation services, and bariatric surgery. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital has the only Commission on Cancer approved cancer center in Marion County. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital’s outpatient facilities include Family Care Specialists, a primary care network of six locations throughout Marion County; HCA Florida Ocala Hospital Imaging Center; and three surgical and physician specialty practices.

Join our free monthly online support group for survivors of physical injuries co-led by TSN trauma professionals and peers. Meetings are held virtually on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 3:30 PM ET and 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:30 PM ET.   


Join this virtual support group the first Wednesday of each month at 1PM ET! The Trauma Survivor’s Network Peer Support Groups connect family, friends, and caregivers of trauma survivors of physical injury, providing a space to share experiences, offer mutual support, and enhance coping skills. 

  
The NextSteps program is a free 6-week self-management course designed to recognize that YOU play the most important role in your recovery. Based on the principles of self-management, it uses techniques that have been scientifically proven to increase one’s self-confidence and sense of empowerment. NextSteps teaches you the skills to become an active self-manager of your health and your life.

Domestic and Sexual Violence Shelters

Domestic Violence Shelters and Sexual Assault Centers offer emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and assistance with navigating next steps. These facilities also provide education to the community to help decrease the incidence of future violence. 

CASA Marion (Marion County)

CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) Marion is the official domestic violence center for Marion County. Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, Inc. (Lake, Marion and Sumter Counties)

Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, Inc., was established in 1977 to meet the needs of domestic violence victims. In the 30+ years of existence, Haven has expanded its base of services and today provides comprehensive, unduplicated services to victims of domestic violence and sexual violence. Florida’s 41 certified domestic violence centers offer temporary emergency shelter, advocacy, and crisis intervention services to provide victims with the resources necessary to be safe and live free of violence.
