Atlas had a wonderful and engaging experience at Cedars Sinai. Our injury prevention coordinator split the duties and took him on some fun adventures. He started his time with us by sitting between the Trauma Social Worker and the Injury Prevention Coordinator and watching the day to day operations.
Then the real fun started! Atlas helped our Injury Prevention Coordinator, Greg, prepare for his ATCN course. Then he had the opportunity to put his hard work into reality and helped teach the ATCN course. Atlas met lots of amazing nurses and learned so much!
Then Atlas went back to the Cedars Sinai campus and attended Certified Nurses Week and after Certified Nurses Week, Atlas attended our Trauma Grand Rounds!
Lastly, Atlas made rounds with our Trauma Social Worker with our Trauma Comfort Cart.
The team had so much with with Atlas, that Cedars Sinai has adopted two TSN Trauma Llamas!
