There is no doubt that the care a trauma team delivers makes a lasting impact on the trauma survivors they treat. Recently, Lee Health received a very public thank you from one of their Survivors, Nichole Hall.
“There was a tremendous effort on the part of our entire trauma team to support Nichole,” said Erika Taylor, MSW TSN Coordinator at Lee Health. “She had a positive attitude from the beginning. When I asked Nichole about her amazing recovery journey, she attributed it to her positivity, faith, and family support.”
Beyond thanking the trauma team, Nichole will be becoming a TSN peer mentor in January 2025. There is no doubt her positivity will help the survivors she visits and connects with.
